Competences Catalogue

Welcome to our Inclusive Leadership Competence Catalogue, the result of focused group discussions and desk research. We identified key competencies essential for inclusive leadership by analysing existing research and enriching our findings through dialogues with diverse stakeholders. The catalogue features 10 essential skills categorized into three areas: Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Diversity and Inclusion Management, and Personal Development in the Workplace.

Methodical Didactic Concept

The methodological-didactic concept is rooted in barrier-free learning, ensuring full accessibility for people with disabilities. It embraces a blended learning framework—seamlessly integrating online modules and in-person sessions—to provide flexible, inclusive education. Informed by the expertise of leadership specialists and integration experts, this approach prioritizes inclusive teaching methods and thoughtfully designed materials. Developed through rigorous research and close collaboration with business leaders, the concept aims to foster an equitable, engaging, and effective learning experience. Its key components include developing inclusive leadership skills, conducting audience analysis, and implementing blended learning strategies.

The manual provides comprehensive insights into the training design for in-person sessions, equipping educators with the necessary methodological and didactical foundations to facilitate engaging and impactful learning experiences. It introduces trainers to the key concepts surrounding disability and inclusion, integrating background information to deepen the understanding of different facets of disabilities.
